In recognition of Kelly’s vast contribution to music in South Georgian Bay and the exposure and development of the area’s musical talent, The Optimist Club of Collingwood and South Georgian Bay is pleased to offer an annual music scholarship in his name to a student who is continuing their study of music at a recognized school of music.

Send the following information before the deadline of June 1 of each year to:

Your full name, address, contact information and the schools you have attended
Your musical background, awards and musical aspirations
Your involvement in the community as a volunteer
Your acceptance letter (copy) from the school of music where you will be studying
The Successful Applicant:
Will be notified prior to July 1 each year. If unsuccessful you may reapply the following year. If there are two equally successful candidates as judged by the selection committee, either both will receive the full scholarship ($1,000) based on availability of funds or ½ the shown amount ($500).
